Why local coverage matters

The Hamptons are not one small neighborhood.

Our team is positioned throughout the South Fork. We understand the traffic, seasonal congestion and the real driving time between Southampton, Sag Harbor, East Hampton and Montauk. That matters when documents are time-sensitive.

01

Often within about an hour for an emergency

When a nearby team member is available, we can often reach an urgent appointment within about an hour of the call. Traffic, location and other scheduled appointments can affect timing.

02

We know the South Fork

Many photographs on our Hamptons pages were taken by our own team while working and traveling throughout the area.

03

We can save you the extra errands

Upon request, we can print documents before the appointment and take completed packages to an appropriate shipping location afterward.

Real local scenery + real work

We know where our clients actually are.

From Water Mill and Cooper’s Beach to hospital rooms and signing tables, our work happens where clients are already spending their day.

Frequently asked questions

What clients ask us.

These answers cover the practical questions we hear most often from families, attorneys, real estate professionals, seasonal residents and visitors throughout the Hamptons.

Do you provide mobile notary service throughout the Hamptons?

Yes. Rush Mobile Notary provides traveling notary service throughout the Hamptons and surrounding East End communities. We meet clients at homes, estates, offices, hotels, hospitals, medical facilities and other agreed locations by appointment.

Which Hamptons towns do you serve?

We serve Southampton, Water Mill, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Noyack, Sagaponack, East Hampton, Amagansett, Montauk, Springs, Quogue, Hampton Bays, Westhampton and surrounding Hamptons communities.

Are you actually located in the Hamptons?

Our team is positioned throughout the South Fork. That local coverage matters because seasonal traffic and the long distances between villages can make time-sensitive appointments difficult for services dispatching from farther away.

How quickly can you arrive for an emergency appointment?

Because our team is spread throughout the South Fork, we can often reach an emergency appointment within about an hour of the call when a nearby notary is available. Timing depends on traffic, distance and other scheduled appointments.

Are you available 24 hours a day?

We accept appointments 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including evenings, weekends and holidays, subject to availability.

Can a mobile notary come to my house or estate?

Yes. Home and estate visits are a core part of our service. We can meet at private homes, vacation properties, estates, offices, hotels or another agreed location.

Can you come to a hospital or medical facility?

Yes. Mobile appointments may be arranged at hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and other medical settings when permitted by the facility and when the signer meets the requirements for notarization. We regularly serve Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.

Can a notary come to a nursing home or rehabilitation facility?

Yes. A mobile appointment may be arranged at a nursing, rehabilitation or assisted-living facility when access is permitted and the signer meets the applicable requirements for notarization.

What identification does the signer need?

The signer generally needs acceptable government-issued identification. If you are unsure whether a particular ID can be used, contact us before the appointment.

Does the signer need to understand the document?

The signer must be willing and able to participate in the notarization and must be signing voluntarily. A notary cannot proceed if the signer cannot adequately communicate or participate in the notarial act.

Can you notarize documents for someone who is elderly or bedridden?

Yes. Mobile appointments can be especially helpful for people who have difficulty traveling. The signer must still meet the applicable requirements for notarization.

Can you notarize a Power of Attorney in the Hamptons?

Yes. Power of Attorney notarizations are a common reason clients request our Hamptons mobile notary service. The signer must have acceptable identification and be able and willing to complete the notarization.

Do you provide mortgage and real estate signing services?

Yes. Rush Mobile Notary provides mobile signing appointments for mortgage and real estate documents throughout the Hamptons, including appointments at homes, offices, law firms, estates and other agreed locations.

Can you print my documents before the appointment?

Yes, when arranged in advance. Upon request, we can print documents before the appointment and can also take completed packages to an appropriate shipping location afterward.

Is Spanish translation assistance available?

Yes. Spanish translation assistance is available by request. Please mention the need for Spanish-language assistance when scheduling so availability can be confirmed.

How much does a mobile notary cost in the Hamptons?

Pricing depends on the location, travel, timing, documents and circumstances of the appointment. Current sample rates are listed on the main Hamptons page, and we can quote your specific appointment when you call or message us.

How do I schedule a Hamptons mobile notary?

Call Rush Mobile Notary at (917) 267-9901 or message us on WhatsApp with your location, requested appointment time, document type and any special circumstances.
